Angthong National Marine Park
The Angthong Marine Park in the Gulf of Thailand is well worth a visit. But instead of going on a cattle trip on a speedboat, there are several smaller sailing vessels running trips for two, three and four days from Koh Phangan and from Koh Tao. The 42 pristine island of the marine national park are full of tropical beaches that hardly ever saw a tourist. Many undiscovered lagoons and beaches are waiting to be explored. Starting from Chaloklum, you can go on a two day sailing boat trip to Angthong or you can charter the boat for as long as you want. Continue reading
